The Indian government is currently in the midst of a design for Regional Medical Hubs, to be delivered through public-private partnerships. These hubs are being envisioned as integrated healthcare complexes that will attract medical value tourism from international as well as national clientele, and potentially comprise of specialty hospitals and centers, facilities for diagnostics, post-care, rehabilitation, and research as well as biotech, medtech, and pharmaceutical centers.

This initiative presents an important opportunity for investors, as it includes very attractive sites near newly established international airports in major metros.

USAHA will provide further information about a follow-up call conducted by the WBG and the Indian government. It is tentatively scheduled for June 30, 2026 and will be online.
